The Turkeys opened the season in weird fashion as they tied the Snack Trays, 16-16 on Thursday night. It was a poor defensive showing, especially in the 3rd inning, when the Snack Trays scored 8 runs. The Turkeys did manage to come back in the bottom of the 7th. They were down by 2, with a man on first and 2 outs, and they rallied to score two runs before Jake's line-out to first ended the inning with a man on second.
This week, the Turkeys will have a tough test in their doubleheader as they are missing two outfielders, the shortstop, and the 3rd baseman.
